Energy Design Consultancy Service

For new dwellings it is important to design for energy efficiency from the outset of your project. BERAS can produce a specification designed specifically for your dwelling based on your budget and wish list.

The new Building Regulations requires a dwelling to achieve a BER of B1 or better, as opposed to the current Building Regulations of a BER of C3.

Further reductions over the next 8 years in the Building Regulations are expected where by the year 2016 a BER rating of A1 will be the norm i.e. a passive house.
